Privacy Policy

Mowify provides lawn measurement and quoting software to UK lawn-care businesses. For homeowner data submitted through a quote widget, the lawn-care business is the data controller and Mowify acts as the data processor. For business account data, Mowify is the controller.

• Business accounts: name, email address, company details, pricing configuration and billing records held by our payment provider.
• Homeowner quotes: the property address entered, the derived coordinates and lawn polygon, the calculated area and price, and the name, email address and phone number submitted with a quote request.
• Technical: IP address (used only for abuse prevention and rate limiting) and basic request logs.

Measurements are produced from third-party aerial and mapping data and are intelligent estimates, not a legal property boundary or survey. Every measurement carries a confidence indicator and can be corrected manually. We do not sell address or measurement data.

We process business account data to perform our contract with you, and homeowner data on the legitimate interest of the lawn-care business in responding to a quote request. Quote records are retained while the business account is active; you can request deletion at any time and accounts deleted from the dashboard remove associated personal data.

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (EU/UK region).
• Stripe — subscription payments.
• Mapping, address and aerial imagery providers used to resolve a property and read its lawn.

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing. Our documented deletion path:

• Homeowners: contact the lawn-care business that quoted you, or email rroruman@gmail.com with the postcode you used. We action it within 30 days and confirm in writing.
• Lawn-care businesses: delete an individual customer or quote from your dashboard, export everything from Account → Export my data, or remove the whole account from Account → Delete account.
• Deleted records clear from encrypted backups within 30 days. Invoices are kept six years for UK tax law.

Mowify uses only strictly necessary cookies and local storage — to keep you signed in, to remember your cookie notice choice and to run the quote widget. We do not set advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies, so no consent banner blocks the site; the notice you see is informational. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in from working.
